The Embers are a London-based folk, Americana and bluegrass band, with some traditional and modern British folk influences too. Playing a mix of interpretations of traditional tunes as well as covers of contemporary songs, the band also performs a growing number of their own compositions.
The band came together when friends Pete (guitar) and Tom (vocals & guitar) decided to find some new friends following many years of playing together. Fiddle-player Joe, vocalist Jess and bassist Sam joined, and the band came together over a mutual love of folk music, single malt and campfires.
Formed in mid-2017, the members have plenty of experience across various different bands and they've already made a mark on the London folk scene, playing for various clubs and promoters and with a number of festivals booked for 2018 summer.
